About Amy
I have been a lifelong artist since my high school years. I love to do soft sculpture art, acrylic paintings, combining painting with fiber art. I have found a very satisfying media using fiber art, along with weaving. Although it is challenging, the end product is most rewarding. I usually turn to art in order to calm myself. I use different artistic media, including drawing, painting, and textile art.
I also enjoy writing and doing research papers since it challenges my mind. It’s interesting to come up with a method of writing and expressing the theme of my research paper. In my spare time, I love to listen to audio books.I prefer to listen rather read my books so that I am free to create my art while I “read.”
I have found that expressing one’s self through art, is an effective media in art therapy.
