About Kate
I'm a 23 year old psychology student in my second year. I completed by first year at Bristol University and achieved firsts and 2:1s across the board. I am down to earth and chatty and have a huge passion for Psychology. My key strengths include english language skills such as essay writing but I am also able to help with the maths and science aspects such as stats. I am attentive and focused on the needs of each individual student and I have a background in working with young people with more complex needs. References available.

- 1 to1 personalised tutoring tailored to each student individually
- Option of either in-person lessons at your home or online lessons via zoom or skype
- I suggest starting out with a 1 to 2 hour lesson per week initially with the option of increasing this during exam times
- I teach up to and including A- Level students. Since many schools do not offer Psychology as a subject at GCSE level, I can help prepare you for the first year of A Levels meaning you will have a solid foundation of the subject going into them. Since many schools may not offer A-Level Psychology, I can also help you during your A-Levels to teach you the syllabus in order to prepare for your degree if applicable to you.
- We will cover the content relevant to you based on your exam board and your interests
- You have the option to sit past papers and be graded on these to prepare for exams
- I will help you improve your essay writing skills, especially focusing on how to write a more scientific essay which is concise with perfect spelling, grammar and punctuation in order to hit those top grades
- I can provide you with textbooks (at additional fee) and we will study from those BUT I also want our time to be fun! I have a love of the subject and I hope you will too. I will make our sessions interactive through games and quizzes, recommending documentaries, podcasts and further reading around the subject which we can then discuss in our time together.

My daughter was struggling to understand the A Level content as she had unfortunately missed quite a bit of school in the run-up to exam times. Kate supported her throughout the stressful exam period and enabled her to achieve a high B in her Psychology A level!
