About Diliana
I am a certified secondary school teacher with over 10 years of experience in teaching, holding a Master’s in Biology with a focus on evolution, biodiversity, and conservation (Leiden University & Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
My academic background includes two research projects in animal behaviour and marine mammal acoustics, as well as an Erasmus exchange at the University of East Anglia.
In addition to my scientific training, I hold a Master’s in Education (first-degree teaching qualification, NL) and have a solid foundation in A-level mathematics.
My teaching approach emphasises deep understanding and interdisciplinary thinking. I aim not only to help students improve their results but to build lasting confidence and genuine interest in the natural sciences.
I believe science becomes meaningful and enjoyable when students are empowered to make connections and think critically.
