About Ghassan

The art of Maths is to think deeply about simple things. When you want to know why things are the way they are, you have to ask yourself why? Why is the sky blue? Because light is refracted by the atmosphere? Why does light refract? And so on... Maths is very much like magic; you just have to learn the 'trick,' then the mystery dispels and you get that 'aha' moment. You think to yourself, 'so that's how it works!' And also like magic, you can question why the 'trick' is able to work in the first place and gain a deeper understanding, to then maybe one day create 'tricks' of your own. I have a friendly comprehensive approach to teaching maths and love to teach students at all skill levels! I love helping students progress and gain newfound confidence in their mathematical ability!

About the lesson

Are you looking for a maths tutor to help you or your child master maths and excel in GCSE or A-level exams? As a passionate graduate of Mathematics, I have the knowledge and enthusiasm to break down complex concepts into understandable lessons. I provide a clear roadmap of the full curriculum so students understand how concepts build on one another and can track their own progress. My approach is to make maths fun and relatable, while ensuring a solid grasp of the methods and principles. Focusing on illuminating the fundamental ideas behind each concept such as making sense of the logic in algebra. This equips students to think critically about maths so they can continue learning and problem-solving independently. I offer flexible 1-hour or 2-hour tutoring sessions to ensure we cover topics comprehensively at the right pace for your learning goals. With over 5 years' experience tutoring students in maths and achieving top grades in maths and further maths myself, including an A*, I am equipped to support GCSE & A-level maths tuition in geometry, algebra, calculus and beyond. Ghassan got the top scores in mathematics especially and whenever we had a new topic come fourth he was able to figure it out on his own. Ghassan doesn't just memorise equations, he understands them and conducts abstract problems. Moreover, he has grown massively since then. I am also quite smart, I have a master's in investment management and scored top of my class. Growing up beside Ghassan, picking up his work ethic and methods when solving maths gave me a great foundation and upper hand during my university experience. I recommend him to anyone.
