About Conor
Having 10 years' experience teaching GCSE Physics, and 7 years teaching A-Level physics has given me a deep knowledge of the content covered in both courses. Having taught complex physics concepts to thousands of students over the years, and worked marking A-level exam papers for OCR has allowed me to recognise which parts students find particularly challenging, and the best methods of supporting them on these concepts. My passion for physics makes my role easy, as I have a love for the subject which keeps me enthusiastic about helping others achieve their full potential!

With 10 years of experience teaching GCSE Science and A-Level Physics at an outstanding school, I have the experience and flexibility to tailor every lesson to each student’s needs. I focus on building confidence, using scaffolded practice, and using my experience as an examiner to prepare students for the demands of exam questions. A typical lesson is 1 hour, and includes a recap activity based on the previous session's learning, a structured conversation going in depth into the chosen topic, and collaboration on practice questions to apply and reinforce new knowledge.
