About Cassondra
I am a 14 year Elementary/Middle School teacher who has taught every subject from 2nd grade-5th grade in the Norfolk school district. My passion is math but I stress implementing other areas in which students may not think math exists. I currently am a sixth grade core and advanced math teacher in VBCPS.

I believe that all children can learn. It is important to understand where the child’s independent ability is and then lead from there. I strive to relate all areas of math to practical problems that they may encounter in the real world. When learning mathematics skills and concepts, it is important for the child to see the relevance of the overall objective.
