About Juan Antonio

I'm a native Spaniard who came to live here 6 years ago. Having completed a degree in Primary Education in Britain, I am now in my second year of teaching. Since moving to Britain, I have taught Spanish to numerous people with different needs and goals.

As a teacher, my main goal is to support my students and give them the confidence to achieve the best level of Spanish possible. I build positive relationships with my students and work around their busy schedules to fit in lessons.

About the lesson

I can offer high quality Spanish tutoring for a range of needs, whether that be conversational Spanish for those often holidaying in Spain, or the more conventional grammar, reading and writing skills for those perhaps in school and taking exams.

I strive to use the most interactive, engaging and effective language learning techniques that best suit my individual students. What you can count on is that you'll be learning real-life authentic Spanish, that you'll be able to use with confidence in the Hispanic world!

I understand the challenges of learning a new language from scratch, so I'll take you through it step by step, ensuring you feel confident throughout.

Juan is such a friendly teacher and makes you feel really at ease and confident to stretch yourself. He is very organised and communicates in advance, to confirm lesson times etc. He does his very best to fit you into his busy schedule. As you'd expect from a native, his knowledge is impeccable, but he teaches in a way that makes it really easy for beginners/intermediates to understand. Great guy and great teacher!
