My tutoring approach begins with believing in my students so they can believe in themselves. I strive to create a supportive, encouraging space where mistakes are part of learning. In math especially, I understand the challenges—having needed help myself—and I guide students step-by-step until concepts click. A typical lesson balances review, practice, and discussion, tailored to each learner’s needs. I also have experience teaching these subjects online, using a variety of digital tools and platforms to make lessons interactive and engaging. While I especially enjoy teaching math, I also support K–8 students in reading, writing, science, and social studies.
