About Elara
As a violin tutor with 18+ years of experience, I have taught around 300 students including high school, college, and adult learners, helping them achieve their musical goals step by step. My teaching approach is based on patience, consistency, and encouragement, as I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance.
I focus on building strong basics such as posture, bow control, finger placement, and tone production, and I make sure lessons are easy to follow. I break down complex techniques into simple steps so students can learn comfortably. I also include exercises, scales, and songs to keep lessons interesting and engaging.
One of my key achievements is helping students overcome challenges and perform with confidence. My aim is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students enjoy learning and feel confident in their progress.

I teach violin with an emphasis on communication, individualized guidance, and practical learning. I assess each student’s strengths, learning style, and goals, and I adjust lessons accordingly.
I focus on developing strong technical skills such as posture, bowing, fingering, tone production, intonation, phrasing, and musical expression, while encouraging creativity and personal interpretation.
I use real-life examples such as performing favorite pieces, playing with accompaniment, and exploring music’s emotional and storytelling aspects to make lessons engaging.
Along with violin, I teach related subjects such as music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano skills to build comprehensive musicianship. My aim is to create a motivating and enjoyable learning environment where students build confidence and a lasting passion for music.
