About Yasaman
I was a reluctant piano student in my childhood who eventually developed a deep appreciation and passion for the instrument and for classical music. My memories of waiting outside my piano teacher's office in the halls of the Royal Conservatory of Music building and hearing the music in the air are some of my most cherished memories.
I understand how to communicate with and encourage children like myself who require extra attention and greater care.

I was trained by acclaimed pianist Alan Hobbins.
My methodology is to encourage a well-rounded understanding of all musical elements: keyboard geography, formation of scales, chords etc., and the fundamentals of note reading and rhythm.
If students choose to pursue RCM Examination preparation then we will cover the required material. Otherwise, I am able to cater to contemporary and basic jazz piano as well.
