About Anita
I am currently a PhD student in Mathematics at a well-established university in China, specializing in mathematical biology and differential equations. I am now in Canada as a visiting scholar and would like to use my spare time to support students in improving their math skills.
With a strong academic background, I have developed solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. I am patient, responsible, and enjoy explaining mathematical ideas in a clear and simple way. I particularly like helping younger students build confidence and develop a good foundation in mathematics.

I offer personalized math lessons for elementary and middle school students in Canada. My goal is to help students build strong foundations, improve confidence, and develop clear problem-solving skills.
In my lessons, I focus on:
Explaining concepts step by step in a simple and clear way
Helping students understand “why”, not just memorize formulas
Practicing with examples adapted to the student’s level
Identifying and fixing gaps in foundational knowledge
I can help with:
Homework support and test preparation
Review of key topics (fractions, algebra, word problems, etc.)
Building confidence for students who feel stuck or frustrated with math
My teaching style is patient, supportive, and structured. I adjust each lesson based on the student’s needs and learning pace.
Lessons can be taught in Chinese or English.
