About Alejandra

I’ve been working with children for six years, and during that time, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in Mexico, Turkey, and China. These experiences have given me a unique perspective on how children from different cultures learn and connect. I’m passionate about creating a positive, supportive environment where kids feel confident and excited about learning. Seeing that “aha!” moment when a student grasps a concept is what makes this job so rewarding. When I am not working, I enjoy reading, doing new activities and hanging out with my friends and my doggie :)

About the lesson

As a tutor, I aim to create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive learning experience that is personalized to each student’s needs, goals, and learning style. My teaching approach blends flexibility, clarity, and interactive strategies to foster deep understanding and confidence in the subject matter. *What Sets Me Apart -Personalized Learning: I adjust lessons to fit each child’s interests and strengths. -Patience & Encouragement: I provide lots of positive feedback to build confidence. -Mastery Focus: I make sure kids truly understand, not just memorize, so they can use their skills confidently. *Who It's For Kids 4-18: I work with children of all ages, from early learners to high school students. *Teaching Method I make learning fun and interactive by breaking lessons into simple steps and using games, real-life examples, and activities. I ask questions that help kids think and discover answers on their own, building problem-solving skills and confidence. Positive reinforcement keeps them motivated, and I tailor each lesson to fit their interests and strengths so they truly understand, not just memorize.
