About Ejumevwo Kelvin

Hi, and welcome! I'm Kelvin — a professional Mathematics tutor with over 14 years of teaching experience, an MSc in Applied Mathematics, and a BSc in Physics. I have taught math at the elementary, middle, high school, and college levels. I currently teach mathematics at an international school. I am a patient, friendly, adaptable, and goal-focused teacher. Outside the classroom, I also love swimming, volleyball, and playing chess.

I provide affordable, personalized online academic support to students looking to improve their grades, master math concepts, and build their confidence. Every child can succeed academically with the right resources and support. Sometimes, that extra help is best found outside the classroom, and I am committed to fulfilling that role.

What I love most about teaching math is witnessing that moment when a concept finally clicks, and the student's face lights up with understanding. That "aha" moment is truly special. I have taught students from the UK, US, Canada, Australia, the UAE, and other regions, covering a wide range of curricula and educational systems.

My Teaching Approach
Lessons will be centered on you, as I believe in individualized, personalized learning. I will primarily teach you to understand concepts and methods by building on your existing knowledge and skills.

Everyone learns differently, and in mathematics, there are many ways to solve problems. I will work with you to find the approach that suits you best. Additionally, during our lessons, we will identify any gaps in your understanding and address them, as filling these gaps is essential to your progress and confidence.

1. Visual & Interactive Tools: I use interactive digital whiteboards, Desmos graphing tools, and GeoGebra visualizations to help visual learners grasp abstract geometric and algebraic concepts.

2. Pace & Curricula Alignment: Whether following a strict school syllabus (IB, GCSE, AP, A-Level) or a customized homeschool pace, lessons adapt dynamically to the student's strengths and areas needing improvement.

3. Goal-Driven Plans: After assessing a student's baseline, I build a custom roadmap targeting their specific exam board, grade goals, or confidence gaps.
