About Alamgir

I’m Alam, a dedicated Computer Science teacher who believes every learner can achieve success with the right support. After six years working in the IT industry and four years training professionals as a Microsoft Certified Trainer, I realised my true passion lies in helping others understand and enjoy technology. With a PGCE and QTS, I now teach KS3, KS4, A Level and adult learners through structured, engaging remote lessons. I break down complex ideas, build confidence, and create a calm, supportive learning environment where students feel motivated to progress. Teaching is not just my career – it genuinely inspires me every day.

About the lesson

My lessons are built on one core belief: every learner can excel when teaching is clear, structured, and rooted in real-world experience. I use a combination of step-by-step explanations, modelling, live demonstrations, and guided practice to help students master each concept with confidence. Complex topics—like algorithms, networks, cybersecurity, programming, and cloud computing—are broken down into simple, manageable steps so learners stay motivated and never feel left behind. Every session is interactive, focused, and personalised. I adapt my lessons according to each student’s ability, goals, and learning style. Whether you're preparing for exams or professional development, I ensure you understand why something works, not just how. Typical Lesson Structure Most lessons are 60 minutes, giving you enough time to learn new material, practise hands-on tasks, and receive personalised feedback. Extended sessions can be arranged for project support or intensive revision. Why Learn with Me? I bring a rare blend of academic teaching expertise and real industry experience. I hold a PGCE with QTS, have six years of hands-on IT industry experience, and spent four years teaching advanced technical certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect at leading training providers. I am also a former Microsoft Certified Trainer, giving me deep insight into how to teach complex concepts clearly and effectively. Who Are My Lessons For? My pricing also reflects my PGCE with QTS, six years of IT industry experience, and four years teaching advanced certifications as a Microsoft Certified Trainer. I invest significant time outside lessons to tailor content to each learner’s goals and provide detailed feedback. This rate ensures students receive high-quality, structured and engaging tuition that genuinely supports long-term understanding and achievement.
