About Daniel
I enjoy helping people understand subjects that can initially seem difficult or complicated. Having studied Economics, Management and Aviation Strategy through to PhD level, I have developed a strong ability to break down complex ideas into clear, practical explanations.
I have also taught and supported students at university level and have several years of private tutoring experience. I particularly enjoy adapting my teaching style to the individual student, whether they need help understanding a topic, preparing for exams, improving their confidence or working through difficult questions.
For me, tutoring is about more than simply giving students the answers. I want to help them understand why something works, develop their own problem-solving skills and leave each lesson feeling more confident than when they started.

I take a friendly, practical and personalised approach to tutoring. I first establish what you already understand and identify the areas where you need the most support, before adapting each lesson around your individual goals.
I focus on explaining concepts clearly and using practical examples, rather than simply asking students to memorise information. Where appropriate, we'll work through questions, problems and exercises together so that you develop the confidence to tackle similar questions independently.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged where appropriate
