About Oliver

I discovered my passion for teaching during my high school years while boarding in South Africa. Witnessing many of my dormmates struggling with Mathematics, I dedicated countless hours to help them overcome their challenges. This journey led me to organise full-day tutoring sessions for my entire boarding group. Standing in front of the class, I would work through problems on the whiteboard, offering explanations and responding to the myriad questions that arose. Following high school, I continued my journey as a private tutor, visiting students in the comfort of their homes. Throughout these experiences, I not only fostered a love for teaching but also formed lasting friendships with my tutees. It was heartwarming to be invited to several birthday parties in the years that followed their graduation. These experiences have ignited my dedication to teaching and have prepared me to inspire and support students on their own educational journeys.

With over 13 years of experience in tutoring Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a passion for teaching. Currently pursuing a PhD in Computational Physics at Imperial College London, I hold a Bachelor of Science with a quadruple major and a Masters in Physics from Cambridge.
