About Marta
I am a 26year old living in London and am xurrently in the 1st year of my PhD. My project is focusing on research into Glioblastoma which is a very aggressive type of brain tumours.
I enjoy teaching and helping students as it not only allows me to share my passion for science, but I myself have also encountered some amazing mentors, teachers and tutors that have helped me shape my career and get to where I am today and i therefore find a lot of joy and fulfilment from doing the same for young people.
Outside of science, I enjoy reading, yoga, travelling and looking after my dog.

I take a student specific approach to teaching depending on each students individual needs and preference of learning method.
I have experience in teaching students face to face as well as online and adapt the material to the students particular needs as well as school specifications. My lessons usually last an hour and involve both exploitations of concepts,Q&A sessions and then going thtough exam material.
I have experience teaching GCSE students as well as undergraduate university students both in a theoretical and practical manner.
My approach to teaching and explaining concepts is through real life examples and applications to strengthen understanding of theory, which my extensive scientific research experience enables.
