About Alexandre
My name is Alexandre De Moor. I am a young researcher in Physics and Mathematics where I work on the search for Artificial Intelligences and how these could help us understand the world of the infinitely small.
I am doing a doctorate at the VUB where I am also an assistant for the statistics course for physicists in the Bachelor's program. I also spend time at CERN in Geneva as part of my tenure as AI development manager with the CMS experiment.
I also spend my free time doing photography and exploring nature in Belgium or elsewhere, always trying to make a connection with physics ;)

Tutoring is mainly aimed at secondary school students. The objective of the course and its content will be developed with the student and his parents according to the difficulties and the objective of the support requested.
The support revolves around a classic course aimed at re-explaining and ensuring that the student has understood the theoretical concepts, their motivations, the demonstrations and their applications. Then will come the realization of exercises whose goal is to allow the student to understand how the theory applies. The total success of the exercises will only be obtained when the student is able to explain/reason by explaining the link between the theory and the exercise. Applying a cooking recipe to a math/science exercise will never lead a student to understanding and therefore will only postpone the failure to a future subject more advanced in his or her schooling.
