About Juan Pablo
I attended Columbia University on a full ride scholarship as a physics major. I later entered UCLA as a PhD student in Physics. While at UCLA I was frequently a teaching assistant, where I would help solidify advanced concepts in physics. My expertise comes from years of teaching, researching, and learning.
I believe that in the classroom we should all come from a place of respect and mutual understanding. If I am teaching you, you have full attention; I only ask that you come with the same attitude.

I believe the best way to learn is to teach: this is why I take the approach of a reverse classroom, where the student leads the direction in problem solving. I, as the teacher, can provide hints, guidance, and in the end an explanation of why the answer is correct or not. I can teach from the high school to university level in physics and mathematics, SAT/ACT mathematics, and general high school level science (AP, IB, etc).
