About Justin
I'm a senior at Phillips Academy Andover, one of the top prep schools in the country, where I've taken advanced coursework in mathematics, computer science, and statistics. Outside of school, I've competed in math at a national level for six consecutive years and have real teaching experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds. I'm patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in subjects that can feel overwhelming at first. I grew up in Carmel, Indiana, and know firsthand how much the right tutor can make a difference.

I'm a senior at Phillips Academy Andover heading to college this fall, with an 800 SAT Math, a 36 ACT, and a 5 on AP Calculus BC. I've qualified for the AIME six consecutive years and have hands-on tutoring experience. Last summer I ran a month-long SAT math bootcamp for high school students, building all the practice materials from scratch.
I work best with middle and high school students on anything from pre-algebra and geometry through precalculus, calculus, and SAT/ACT prep. My approach is straightforward: I figure out exactly where a student is getting stuck, work through the concept from the ground up, and build in enough practice that it actually sticks. I don't just show you how to get the answer. I make sure you understand why it works so you can handle problems you've never seen before.
Lessons are available in person in the Carmel area or virtually.
