About Maximilian

I am Maxi, 28, and I recently finished my Master's degree in philosophy and science communication. Since then I embarked on a journey through Australia, New Zealand and Japan, looking for a time out from office work. Instead I prefer to go back to working with people, exploring their culture and teaching them about my own.

I was previously able to enjoy said role during my time at an education centre in my German home town. There I worked as a seminar leader who first and foremost instructed teenagers and young adults in the field of communication and conflict prevention. Looking back, I really appreciated teaching about my expterise while simutaneously being taught about different viewpoints and backgrounds.

I am looking forward to re-embarking on this journey with you!

About the lesson

As a Philosophy graduate with a passion for language, I bring a unique perspective to the table. My experience as a tutor spans various proficiency levels and age groups, from beginners to advanced learners, teenagers to adults. Whether you're aiming to ace an exam, enhance your career prospects, or simply explore the beauty of the German language, my lessons are tailored to meet your needs and goals.

Over the last years I have worked as a seminar leader, translator, author and editor. My approach to tutoring therefore combines traditional methods with innovative techniques tailored to each student's learning style. From interactive dialogues to thought-provoking discussions on German literature and culture, every session is designed to spark curiosity and inspire growth.

Lessons typically run for an hour, allowing ample time for meaningful interaction and practice. Within this timeframe, I prioritize active participation and feedback, ensuring that students not only grasp the material but also feel empowered to apply it confidently in real-life situations.
