About Sahar

I love doing philosophy. I am a poet and a writer. Literature, I believe, is applied Philosophy. They go hand-in-hand. I hold Master’s degrees in English literature, creative writing, and philosophy, which has given me a unique blend of thought and expression. I am particularly interested in the questions about consciousness, self, and being as discussed in philosophers from the western tradition as well as in the Indian tradition.

About the lesson

Philosophy begins with questions, and my lessons will give you room to ask them. I use the Socratic method: conversation is the lab where we experiment with ideas.

A typical lesson starts with your question or a passage you find intriguing. We explore the ideas together, examine the arguments, and practice expressing your own response clearly.

I have taught philosophy and ethics in India and the United States. My interests span Western and Indian philosophy, especially questions about identity, meaning, and how we should live.

My lessons are for college students seeking help with coursework and anyone curious about philosophy. I adapt the pace and focus to your needs, whether you are encountering the subject for the first time or exploring a particular thinker.
