About Maya

I am currently a medical resident who is highly involved in my university and with mentoring other students. I love motivating others to become the best versions of themselves. I have worked as a private tutor for 10 years for students in middle and high school. My clients and I had great rapport.

About the lesson

I like to assess what my student's weaknesses are and get to the root of what is causing them. Sometimes it can be related to content mastery but other times it can be test taking skills. After identifying the shortcomings, I work with students to enhance their confidence by giving them the skillset they need. I can work with many learning types including visual, auditory, and more. I am well-seasoned with adapting my teaching style to what my student needs.
