About Ryan
I have a M.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering as well as a M.S. in Physics, and now I am currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program for Physics. Additionally, I have been a physics instructor at various community colleges for nearly five years.
I enjoy teaching, and my goal is always to make sure students learn at least one new physics-related concept during each lesson I lead. I aim to create a casual environment where questions can be asked freely. All questions are welcomed. That is, after all, the point of being a student: to seek answers to questions. As an instructor, I may not immediately provide an answer, but I will guide the student until the answer is found.

My lessons are conversational. I want to know whether the student understands the explanations I'm providing; therefore, I facilitate an open dialogue. All questions are encouraged. I may not provide an immediate answer, but I will gently guide the student toward the correct answer.
A typical lesson involves probing the student's current understanding to determine mental sticking points. Once determined, the lesson is tailored specifically for the student. I will describe concepts and solve example problems in a step-by-step approach, where I clearly detail why and how each step is performed.
I can provide lessons for high school to college level students. My experience teaching at various community colleges for nearly five years has granted me the requisite experience to reach students of various levels of understanding.
