About Robert
A recent University of Birmingham graduate (BSc in Physics), I'm eager to help students fulfil their potential in the subjects of maths and physics for which I offer affordable lessons with a very flexible timetable. I know the opportunities that fluency in these subjects can offer you, both in your career but also in your personal life, where applications of the logic embedded within the core understanding of the subjects can help you solve life's problems. My aim is to break the difficult concepts into digestible pieces, to patiently walk tutees through each step at their own pace and to instil confidence in their abilities.
I'm a big brother to 4 younger siblings, and have been helping them with schoolwork for years. I take great pride in equipping them with important life skills, and teaching them nurtured inside me a great passion to teach. Particularly in maths/science classes, many students are left frustrated when they need to go over a topic that has been covered briefly in class and they haven't the chance to get a second explanation from their teacher, as a tutor I can fill that gap for my tutees. Throughout my time at school and university, I found various studying techniques which helped me succeed in many exams and I use that to give students knowledge that will stick in their memory even during stressful exam periods.
