About Sofia
I am a university student studying Physics at University College London (UCL). I love learning and teaching Maths and Physics simply because they are my favourite subjects and I find it incredibly rewarding when I and others around me can fully grasp a concept and apply them across both subjects. I achieved grade A* in both subjects at GCSE and have pursued them to A-level getting an A* in Maths and an A in Physics, so I am confident in my ability guide students through the GCSE syllabi.

In lessons I want to first allow a student to fully grasp and understand a concept before setting a task for the student to complete. This would consist of a detailed and tailored explanation of a problem or subject followed by student questions, a model question then answer followed by the student's independent attempt and a review and breakdown of it. I have tutored 3 GCSE students in Maths, Physics and History across the 2 years of GCSE for each student in 45-60 minute sessions.
