About James

I am a 3rd year Physics with Astrophysics student studying at Queen's University Belfast, previously studying in the Italian Alps with the European Southern Observatory. An interesting project I have worked on recently is the development of a model of the solar system in Python which I used to investigate Kirkwood gaps; the effect of Jupiter's gravitational field on the asteroid belt. I have previous experience tutoring dinghy sailing to large groups of students both out on the water and in the classroom.

About the lesson

Teaching Technique & Methodology: I believe that in physics, the best method of learning is through practice problems. My teaching style allows the student to attempt relevant questions in a supportive and friendly environment. Lesson Structure: Lessons last 1 hour with the option to work on the student's chosen topic or relevant exam questions. Who are my lessons for: Lessons are aimed towards students of any age from primary school to A-Level.
