About James

I am a 3rd year Physics with Astrophysics student studying at Queen's University Belfast. I have been using and learning Python for 7 years and have completed many different projects during this time. My most recent project I have worked on is an object oriented model of the solar system which I used to investigate the effect of Jupiter's gravitational field on the asteroid belt. I have previous experience tutoring dinghy sailing to large groups of students both out on the water and in the classroom. You can check out some of my projects on my GitHub: (concealed information)

About the lesson

Teaching Technique & Methodology: I believe that in programming, the best method of learning is through experimentation. My teaching style allows the student to test their ideas and learn to use the vast range of online resources available to improve their skills. Lesson Structure: Online lessons take place over Zoom and will use the online IDE "Repl" to collaborate on code. Lessons last 1 hour with the option to work on the student's chosen topic or, if new to Python, we will work on the foundation of programming in Python. Who are my lessons for: Lessons are aimed towards students of any age at beginner level.
