About Auris

I am a person who learnt how to play piano at a virtuoso level within ten years, after having turned 22 years old; very late to the game, I also have severe learning difficulties, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia. I'm living proof that no matter what life throws at you, it's never too late or impossible to become a master and professional at playing piano.

About the lesson

Auris has hand-build a lesson plan that caters to many of his students, particularly those who struggle with coordination, patience, attention and feelings of low self-worth and confidence. It is a combination of heavily practical tasks that maintain engagement and theory to help support the knowledge behind the practice, but with a focus on taking it slow and learning to actually create your own craft.

We start wherever you wish to start, if you don't want to get caught up with re-learning the absolute basics, then we will structure lessons that achieve your goals and your goals alone.

The lessons will be shaped around your needs and your desires, Auris's objective is not to create a musician who plays like him, but a musician who plays exactly like themselves.

Those who make the most money and have the most fun in this industry, are paid to bring what only they can bring, not what everyone else does; and that is what the lessons will provide, from personal lived experience.

Auris has nine years' worth of professional experience, having played and composed for some of the most well-known names in the industry; Sony, Warner Brothers, UMG, Abbey Road, Drake, Emeli Sandé, Jorja Smith, Fiasco, Big Zuu, Aitch, Ayo, WAVEZ, The Royal Ballet, Rambert, English National Ballet, Sadler's Wells, Ballet Black. The length of lessons is down to you, and what you think is most beneficial for your learning style, but I prefer those over the age of 14-15 (Enhanced DBS guaranteed)
