About Alex
Hi, I'm Alex, a pianist, composer, and music educator from India. Music has been a part of my life from a very young age, and the piano has always been my main way of expressing myself.
I studied music at the University of Salford in Manchester, UK, and later completed a Diploma in Audio Engineering from KM Music College, Chennai. I also completed Trinity Grade 6 Piano with Merit.
I have nearly two years of experience teaching online and have taught 100+ students between the ages of 5 and 70 from different countries. I also perform as a keyboardist with my band, Gujarati Street, and I write and compose my own music.
I’m a very easy-going and patient person, and I enjoy helping students discover their own connection with music. Whether you're learning piano for fun, developing your skills seriously, or simply want to learn your favorite songs, I'd be happy to help you along the way.
Music is not just something I teach — it's something I genuinely live every day.

My classes are friendly, relaxed, and personalized to each student's level and goals. Whether you're a complete beginner, a child learning piano for the first time, or an experienced player looking to improve, I adapt the lessons to suit you.
We can work on piano technique, songs, chords, music theory, improvisation, accompaniment, composition, and musical expression depending on what you want to learn.
I believe learning piano should be both structured and enjoyable. Instead of simply memorizing notes, I help students understand the music, build confidence, and develop their own musical style.
With experience teaching 100+ students from ages 5 to 70, I understand that every student learns differently. My goal is to make each lesson productive, comfortable, and something you look forward to.
