About Alyssa

I have just finished my alevels and I am looking to inspire confidence and creativity in my student!
I hope I can instill a good work ethic and enjoyment for learning.
I have studied Alevel Chemistry, Psychology and History and I am hoping to study Psychological and Behavioural sciences university in September!!

About the lesson

My piano lessons are catered towards children just starting out and wanting to learn the basics. I can teach up to Grade 3 and know a great piano teacher (who taught me) to help them develop their ability afterwards. The lessons will last 1 hour in which I will teach piano for 45 minutes and theory for 15 minutes. The children will be set homework to complete throughout the week till our next session!

I have a Grade 5 in Piano and have taught my own sister how to play (she is now Grade 3!).

Alyssa has been working with my son for the last 7 or 8 months. He is a reluctant student and didn't want to have tutoring but needed it due to low prediction for GCSE. Alyssa has been very patient, encouraging and supportive with him. Even though he is still adamant that he doesn't like English, we have seen a big difference in his understanding and so have his teachers. I believe that without Alyssa's help my son would have had no chance of passing his GCSE. Fingers crossed for results day!
I would highly recommend Alyssa as a tutor.
