About Dani

Bachelor of Music from the University of Guanajuato, México.
I have 11 years of experience giving piano lessons, based on 22 years of musical training, which includes: the Escuela de Música de León, private lessons with the teacher Martha C. Sánchez Ibarra and the Instituto Musical Lemus. I have participated as a performer in solo and ensemble piano recitals in various forums in the cities of León, Guanajuato, Dolores Hidalgo and Irapuato (México).

About the lesson

Way of teaching:

In each class I seek to instill in my students a taste for music through kind and understanding treatment, in order to forge in them the habit of studying the piano with perseverance and later on use it as a means of personal expression.

Classes are tailored to your interests and goals. I try to complement the learning of musical pieces with other tools such as creativity exercises, piano technique, listening, reading the staff, harmony and music history.

I like to pay special attention to piano technique, understood as the search for movements, positions and bodily (and mental) sensations that help us efficiently transmit our inner world, without discomfort or injury.

My specialty is classical music. I will be very happy to share with you what I know. We can also cover other musical genres, since the bases are the same.

With patience and perseverance, you will be able to discover in the practice of the piano, not only a way to feel your favorite works in your own fingers, but also a wonderful way to explore your growth as a human being.

PIANO CLASS SPECIFICATIONS

- Duration:

Beginners and intermediates, youth and adults: 1 session of 1 hour.
Beginners children under 7 years: two separate sessions of half an hour.
Advanced students (Intermediate Level or Music Degree): hour and a half.

- Entry requirements:

The recommended age is at least 4 years old, but I can accept children under that age as long as they master the following skills:

-Numbers up to 5: recognize numbers and groups of objects with TOTAL mastery.
-Recognize and name the basic colors.
-Begin to differentiate Right - Left.

*IMPORTANT:
All students under 7 years of age must be accompanied by a mother, father or guardian during the entire class.
