With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have guided students from their first lesson through to completing Grade 8 exams, with many achieving distinctions, winning awards, or receiving scholarships. For pre-school children, lessons focus on introducing musical concepts through engaging activities like musical games, singing, and exploring the piano in a playful way. Young children begin learning note reading, hand coordination, and simple pieces to foster early confidence, with a mix of fun songs and structured practice. Older children focus on more advanced techniques, sight-reading, and musical interpretation, with an emphasis on both classical and contemporary repertoire. For adult learners, lessons are tailored to your personal goals, whether you’re a beginner starting from scratch or returning to the piano after a break. My approach prioritises learning music you enjoy while incorporating foundational skills such as reading music, hand independence, and chord progressions naturally into your playing. With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have guided students of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to those preparing for exams or performances. Many of my students have achieved distinctions in their grade exams, and my youngest learners have grown into confident and capable musicians. My lessons are suitable for all ages and abilities, from pre-school children to adults, whether you are pursuing music as a hobby, preparing for exams, or exploring piano for personal enjoyment. My goal is to make learning the piano a rewarding and inspiring experience at every stage of your musical journey.
