With 9 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Collaborative Piano, I bring both expertise and enthusiasm to every lesson. My teaching philosophy centers on interactive learning, helping students connect with musical intention while building balanced skills. I tailor instruction to each learner, guiding beginners through expert-level students with a personalized approach.
Lessons incorporate technique, music theory, historical context, and creative exploration to develop well-rounded musicianship. Practice strategies, sight-reading, and performance preparation are woven into every session to build confidence and independence.

I guide students through practice strategies, sight-reading, and performance preparation to build consistency and resilience. Exercises are tailored to each student’s strengths and goals, whether for exams, church music, or public performance.
I encourage active listening, self-assessment, and constructive feedback to help students recognize progress and overcome challenges. Stage presence and performance etiquette are practiced to make playing in front of an audience natural and comfortable.
