About Ria
Hi, I'm Ria and I'm a tutor based in London. Throughout school, I loved Science and found it fascinating which led me to pursue a degree in Pharmacology, learning about the intricacies of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics.
I now find joy in teaching and sharing my interest in these subjects in a fun and interactive way to keep my students engaged.
Outside of working, I am extremely creative and I also have a passion for dance and fitness.

I adopt a constructivist pedagogy where I'll always be patient and ensure the student fully understands the subject area I am teaching before moving on and consolidating knowledge with interactive information recall activities as well as guiding them through how to apply this knowledge in exam questions.
I am Flexible with the length of my lessons but I usually advise a minimum of 1 - 1.5 hour lessons and I can adjust the structure of these accordingly.
I have 5 years of tutoring experience where I have taught GCSE Biology and Chemistry, A-Level Biology as well as KS2 and KS3 maths. I also have a Pharmacology BSc from University of Leeds.
