About Ysla

With 8 years of ESL tutoring experience, I have helped around 150 High School and College students develop stronger English communication skills. Teaching English allows me to make a meaningful difference in students’ academic confidence and everyday communication abilities. My teaching philosophy focuses on making lessons simple, clear, and enjoyable.

I believe students learn best when they understand the purpose behind what they are learning. I use real-life examples, stories, reading passages, writing practice, and speaking activities to help them improve all four language skills. One of my greatest achievements is helping students who once felt anxious about English become confident and motivated learners.

Many of my students improved their grades, delivered stronger presentations, and communicated more fluently after our lessons. I also support students by teaching grammar in easy steps and helping them apply new vocabulary correctly. I create a warm and supportive learning environment where students feel free to express themselves. I encourage them to take risks, practice often, and celebrate small improvements. My aim is to help them build strong English skills that will benefit them now and in the future.

About the lesson

My ESL teaching approach blends Communication, Flexibility, Creativity, Accountability, and Integrity. Communication is essential, so I help students practice speaking and listening through simple, meaningful activities.

Flexibility helps me adjust lessons for each learner’s needs, whether it’s reading comprehension, spoken English, grammar basics, or writing improvement. In addition to ESL, I teach Vocabulary Skills, Academic English, Essay Writing, and School English.

Creativity helps students learn quickly. I use visual tools, listening exercises, storytelling, and fun speaking activities that make learning enjoyable and effective.
Accountability ensures students stay motivated. I give clear feedback, track progress, and assign short tasks to encourage consistent learning.

Integrity ensures a supportive learning environment. I guide students honestly, respect their pace, and help them build confidence without fear.
This approach helps students master English skills through a combination of structured lessons and creative practice.
