About Julia

My name is Julia, I am 21 years old, and I am a student at McGill University. I have taught in elementary schools, and have also tutored for several years to mainly high school students, in math and reading. I am extroverted and enjoy speaking to people, and I take constructive feedback seriously and always look for ways to improve my teaching.

About the lesson

I take a personal approach and use real-world examples to make the lesson stick. I use active recall techniques regularly to ensure the material is remembered in a way that makes sense, not just memorizing. I take a conversational approach to make topics less intimidating.
