About Abigail

My educational journey has been a difficult one. After changing courses at university from a BSc in physics to a BA in English language and literature, I finally found my passion. After graduating with a first, I have gone on to study an MPhil/PhD which is what I am currently studying.

I have been teaching since I was 18. I found a job that made me fall in love with helping people learn. After teaching in a classroom setting (both primary and secondary), I have found that I love to celebrate all the little moments with my students including all the small achievements. I currently have students all over the world including China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Italy and UK.

Personally, I am currently learning Mandarin and Japanese and I love to binge watch Netflix. I am a keen walker and I love to visit historical landmarks. I think my favourite castle is Kennilworth!

About the lesson

I like to make my lessons fun and engaging. due to my classroom experience as an English teacher, my students learn everything there is to know to pass their exams in a way where they enjoy learning. Usually, my lessons consist of games, activities and exercises in which can appeal to all ages.

The benefit of my private tutoring services allow me to tailor the same quality of teaching you would receive in a classroom in a school so you can focus on the parts you need help with.
