"Returning adult string players often find that their FORMAL FRENCH TRAINING requires a gentle, methodical recalibration. I observe the way you hold the instrument and then we refine your posture and hold until the tension dissolves. My background includes a degree from the Cleveland Institute of Music, which informs how I guide students through ABRSM or Trinity grade exams.
We examine the complexities of double stops, rhythm, and timing to ensure your classical repertoire sounds precise. Improving your sight reading is a priority, and I am here to help if you want to explore these techniques during a trial session."

"Stepping into the studio, we begin with a focused physical check to ensure your shoulders are relaxed before you touch the bow to the string. During our 60 minute sessions, I apply the methodical approach honed over 5 years to help you navigate technical hurdles.
You will receive free bowing and posture reference notes after each lesson to keep your practice on track. We explore the nuance of your music through a lens of curiosity that respects your previous history as a string player. Working together allows us to bridge the gap between where you stopped and where you want to go. I look forward to supporting your progress back into the string repertoire."
