About Kim

I am a vibrant and friendly teacher who enjoys art, poetry, language and from time to time watching football. My favourite footballer is Ronaldinho and I enjoy watching the legendary skills and showmanship and love of football that he brought. I also really enjoy hip hop music and I love learning about the ocean. My favourite animal is an Orca because they are so powerful and beautiful yet so intelligent and loving. I love learning about the cultures of the world. I am very bubbly and very happy.

Hi! My name is Teacher Kim, and I’m from beautiful South Africa.
I’m TEFL and TESOL certified, with 4 years of teaching experience, as well as 13 years of experience in public service.
I’m passionate about helping students improve their English in a way that feels comfortable, practical, and enjoyable.
In my lessons, we can work on grammar, pronunciation, articulation, fluency, vocabulary, and everyday conversational English.
But most importantly, my lessons are about you.
I want to get to know you, understand your goals, discover your learning style, and create lessons that work for you.
Whether you want to improve your English for work, travel, studies, social conversations, or simply to feel more confident speaking English, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
And don’t worry if you make mistakes — mistakes are part of learning! My classroom is a friendly and supportive space where you can practise, ask questions, and build your confidence without fear.
