About Nelson
Growing up, I often felt discouraged from asking questions. Sometimes teachers made me feel “dumb” for not understanding right away, and that took a toll on my confidence and my ability to think freely. Because of that experience, I’ve made it a priority to create a different kind of space for my students—one where questions are welcomed, encouraged, and valued. With me, you never have to worry about asking “too many” questions or getting something wrong. Learning is a process, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My teaching philosophy is simple: when you truly understand something, you don’t need to rely on memorization. I want to help you make sense of the ideas, not just repeat them. When you understand the “why,” everything becomes easier, less stressful, and way more meaningful and allow you to be confident to ace that exam!
