About Lauren
With 21 years of experience in teaching Guitar, I have worked with school students, college students, and working professionals from different backgrounds. I am passionate about music and committed to helping students discover their talents and enjoy learning.
My teaching philosophy focuses on making lessons interactive and easy to understand. I believe that music education should encourage creativity, discipline, and confidence. Therefore, I customise each lesson according to the student's goals and abilities.
My classes include guitar fundamentals, chord progressions, scales, rhythm exercises, fingerstyle techniques, and music theory. I also help students learn their favourite songs to keep lessons interesting and motivating.
Throughout my teaching journey, many students have gained confidence and performed successfully at cultural programmes and special events. Their achievements continue to inspire me as an educator.
My aim is to help students become confident musicians and develop a lifelong appreciation for music.

I believe that learning music should be enjoyable and inspiring for students of all ages. My teaching style combines patience, compassion, communication, and encouragement to create a supportive learning atmosphere.
My Guitar lessons are designed according to the student's level and musical interests. Beginners focus on building strong foundations, while intermediate and advanced students learn scales, fingerstyle techniques, improvisation, and performance skills.
I encourage students to communicate openly and participate actively during lessons. A positive learning environment helps students build confidence and remain motivated. I also provide practice routines and regular progress reviews to ensure steady improvement.
Besides Guitar, I can also teach music theory, rhythm studies, ear training, and music appreciation. These subjects strengthen musical understanding and improve listening abilities.
My objective is to help students develop confidence, creativity, and a lifelong passion for music.
