About Carson
Hi there! My name's Carson, and I earned my Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Master's in Education (M.Ed.) from the University of Notre Dame. I am a licensed math teacher, and I taught math and computer science for two years at a California high school where I taught over 250 students.
Over the last seven years, I have tutored over 30 students. I specialize in math and ACT & SAT Test Prep. I scored a perfect 36 on the ACT and a 1580 on the SAT, and I helped one of my students significantly increase his SAT score by 330 points from a 950 to a 1280. I'm confident I can help you in the same way!

I love working with students, which is why I became a teacher in the first place. I believe each student brings their own set of unique gifts to the table. I am committed to meeting each student where they're at, and helping them get to where they want to be. My tutoring approach is diagnostic first. I need to identify exactly where a student needs help: is it a content gap, a timing issue, or a test-taking strategy problem? Each one requires a different fix, and from there I can build a plan hyper-focused on the areas that will result in the biggest score increases.
