About Hannah
I graduated from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's in curriculum and instruction. I have three years of teaching experience as an elementary math teacher. I have two years of teaching experience as a virtual math teacher.My husband and I were blessed with a little boy last year and I chose to stay home with him. I am excited to continue teaching math, even in a different capacity!

I am passionate about math education. I love making math "hands-on" for my virtual learners. I believe that when students can see and interact with math they will become successful! I like to start my lessons with a higher order open ended question on the topic which will lead to deeper discussion and understanding. Then practice, through games, pictures, songs, and example problems. Finally, I assess my students to guarantee their understanding and address any misconceptions.
