I follow Suzuki, but I understand that it is only one method and while it works for a large number of students, there will always be a few students where this method does not work. I shape the learning materials to what music the student is interested in learning, as long as it is within their level.
I am a violin teacher with an MMus from the University of Calgary and a BA in Music from UBC. I'm passionate about helping students achieve their goals in violin and theory. I've taught all ages. I understand everyone has different learning preferences and I adapt my lessons according to the individuals needs. My website: (concealed information)
I am currently only offering online lessons, which are $30 whether you wish to book 1 hour or a 1/2 hour long lesson. But, once it is safe to do so, if you would like to transition to in person lessons, I charge $35 for 1/2 hour and $45 for an hour (CAD). The different fees reflect how I believe that online lessons are not as good as in person.
