My Methodology: The Synergy of Sivananda, Sound, and Rhythm
With over 20 years of personal practice and 4 years of professional teaching, my approach to yoga is built on the belief that movement should not just be seen, but felt. My methodology, known as Yoga Rhythm, is a specialized fusion designed to bridge the gap between traditional discipline and modern holistic healing.

1. The Foundation: Classical Sivananda
Our sessions are rooted in the Sivananda tradition, a classical hatha-based system that focuses on 12 core asanas (postures) and deep pranayama (breathwork). This provides a structured, safe, and time-tested framework for your practice. Whether you are working on flexibility, strength, or stress reduction, the Sivananda foundation ensures that we are not just exercising, but systematically balancing the body’s energy centers.

2. The Innovation: Integrated Sound Therapy
What sets my classes apart is the integration of Sound Therapy. I utilize rhythm and frequency as a support system for the nervous system.

During Asana: We use rhythmic awareness to help time your breath and movement, making the flow feel more intuitive and less forced.

During Savasana: I incorporate therapeutic sound elements to help guide your brain into a meditative state, facilitating a deeper level of cellular relaxation than traditional silence often allows.

3. A Typical 1-on-1 Session
No two bodies are the same, so no two sessions are identical. However, we generally follow a transformative four-part arc:

The Opening: We begin with pranayama and initial sound-focus to quiet the "monkey mind" and prepare the lungs.

The Warm-up: Systematic Sun Salutations to build internal heat and synchronize movement with rhythm.

The Flow: Holding classical postures with a focus on alignment and internal resonance.

The Deep Rest: A guided relaxation period enhanced by sound therapy to ensure you leave the mat feeling "re-tuned."

4. Customization for Your Level
For Beginners: We focus on the architecture of the poses. I provide clear, verbal cues and modifications to ensure you feel confident and safe, regardless of your current flexibility.

For Seasoned Yogis: We dive deeper into the energetic and spiritual aspects of the practice, using sound to help you break through plateaus in your meditation and breath retention.

My Goal for You:
My mission as @YogiRiddim is to provide a harmonious mat experience. You won't just learn how to do a pose; you will learn how to find your own rhythm, regulate your nervous system, and carry the calm of the class into your daily life.
