I bring over 35 years of experience in the professional ballet world as a dancer, teacher and rehearsal director. Having worked with international ballet companies and taught senior students at English National Ballet School, Rambert School, Houston Ballet Academy, I understand both the artistic and practical demands of a professional ballet career.

My approach focuses not only on technical development but also on helping dancers understand the wider expectations of the profession — from auditions and repertoire to confidence, resilience and career pathways.

I aim to provide clear, honest guidance within a supportive environment, helping each dancer develop their potential and navigate the challenges of training and early professional life.

About the lesson

My sessions are designed to support young dancers who are preparing for vocational training, auditions or the transition into professional ballet.

Drawing on over 35 years of experience as a professional dancer, teacher and rehearsal director, I provide guidance that combines technical insight with practical advice about navigating the ballet profession.

Sessions are conducted online and may focus on:

• audition preparation and career guidance
• vocational school preparation
• repertoire and training development
• understanding professional expectations
• building confidence and resilience

Each session is tailored to the individual dancer and their stage of training.
