About Ifeyinwa
I am a university lecturer in Nigeria with a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry and several years of experience teaching and mentoring students at different academic levels. I am passionate about helping students overcome their fear of Chemistry by making lessons simple, engaging, and easy to understand.
My teaching approach is student-focused and results-driven. I take time to understand each student’s learning style and tailor lessons to help them build confidence, master difficult concepts, and achieve excellent academic performance.
Over the years, I have successfully guided students preparing for WAEC, NECO, JAMB, JUPEB and university examinations, helping them improve both their understanding and results. I believe every student can excel with the right guidance, patience, and support.
I am committed to professionalism, punctuality, and creating a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and growing academically.

I believe that every student has the ability to succeed in Chemistry when taught with patience, clarity, and the right approach. As a university lecturer with a Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry and years of teaching experience, I have worked with students of different learning abilities and backgrounds, helping them build confidence and achieve remarkable academic improvement.
My private tutoring approach is highly personalized and student-focused. I take time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and pace of learning, then tailor my lessons to meet their individual needs. Rather than relying on memorization, I focus on helping students truly understand concepts through simple explanations, practical examples, guided problem-solving, and interactive learning.
I create a comfortable and encouraging environment where students feel free to ask questions, make mistakes, and learn confidently without pressure. My lessons are well-structured, engaging, and designed to make even difficult topics easier to grasp.
Beyond helping students prepare for examinations such as WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and university assessments, my goal is to develop independent learners who can approach Chemistry with confidence and critical thinking skills.
I am committed to professionalism, consistency, and measurable progress, and I take pride in seeing my students grow academically and personally.
Recommendations
Recommendations come from relatives, friends and acquaintances of the tutor.
Ma Iphie has made such a remarkable impact in the lives of her students, of which I am one. Even till now, she continues to do so. You know those teachers students never have to think twice about before before calling them their favourite? Yes, that’s Mrs. Ifeyinwa also known to us as Ma Iphie.
One thing I deeply appreciate about her is how well she knows her craft and how passionate she is about teaching it. She is really intentional, not just about passing information, but about transferring confidence, understanding and true knowledge to her students.
One of her common sayings is: “Chemistry is a pattern science, I want you to understand it.”
And she teaches with that mindset.
We all know how challenging Chemistry can seem at times. Even after secondary school, there were moments I got stuck on certain topics and reached out to her for help. She never acted too busy, neither did she make me feel like her responsibility as my teacher ended in secondary school. And did I mention that she also teaches at the university level? Versatile, if you ask me.
Whenever she explained a concept, she would always ask, “Do you understand, or do you want a re-explanation?”
I must admit, that level of patience and commitment is rare.
People, this isn't just another teacher, she is gold, yes. Find her, learn from her and treasure the blessing that she is and the value she brings.View more recommendations
