About Diana
I am a female professional engineer working in the aeronautical industry. I am interested in helping our youth, especially girls, foster interest in STEM. A lot of the time, many talented students are afraid to even envision themselves in a field that requires technical aptitude. I am a believer that successful students who are able to do well in industry have a level of confidence that separates them from the rest. I'm here on SuperProf hoping to pay it forward and empower our next generation of thinkers, doers, and leaders. All it takes is for someone to believe in them, and I am here to be that person. I am passionate about teaching because I know the importance of building a solid foundation in a subject matter. My approach to teaching/tutoring is simple and straightforward. Students in the past have stated that I am gentle, kind, patient, understanding, and clear. I'd be happy to tailor the lessons at a pace that feels right to you. Lessons for K-12 students.
Help with HW/Exam Preparation: We will go over the main topics that were discussed in your classes. We will spend a 1/3 of that time reviewing the concepts again. I'll have you explain back the material in your own way to verify comprehension. I'm friendly, gentle, and very encouraging. Then, the rest of the time will be spent working through some of the homework problems together.
