About Mohamed
I have a Master Degree in the Chemistry and Technology of Polymers. After graduation I worked for an Algerian gas company for 7 years, of which, 18 months as Technical Instructor. I worked for one year as French/English Translator/Interpreter for the Refugee Board, UK. In Canada, I worked for 8 years in various chemical laboratories, as Laboratory Technologist. In 2005, I decided to make a career change by accepting a job as French Instructor with Berlitz Calgary Learning Centre until 2011. Since 2012, I have been tutoring French and English at all levels, to young students and adults alike.

I have been teaching and tutoring both French and English since 2005. At Berlitz Calgary Language Centre, I helped adult professionals improve their communication skills by using the Direct Method, which is an intensive speaking approach based on vocabulary.
Since 2012, I have been tutoring and coaching students by helping them with their homework, assignments and exam preparations. I have also helped adults, especially those seeking a career advancement, a foreign job assignment or simply a trip to France.
Classes were delivered using one or a combination of the following approaches and methodologies: The Direct Method, the Structural Approach, Total Physical Response (TPR), Communication Language Teaching (CLT), the Task Based Language Learning and the Silent Way.

Perfect! Hello. Great start from what I could hear from the back (my mom is taking the lessons).
Looking forward to pursuing this.- The student showed interest and eagerness in learning and improving her English. She neither showed a significant struggle in answering questions, nor in putting together a paragraph to describe an event. Travel expenses of $7.00 covering the cost of public transportation are incurred, if classes are to take place outside the downtown core.
